@11TRDTX yeah we got it done a couple weeks ago. Still have to put the filler plates in, will probably do that whenever we weld my sliders up. Trying to find a weekend we are both free is tough lol.

@Red Demon I love the km2 had a set on my second gen tacoma and have the ko2 on my z71. I’m definitely a BF Goodrich fanboy although that might change with my next set because those cooper stt a lot of guys are running look pretty damn sexy.

I'm in the same boat, as i look at going to 35's on my next set been debating on stt or KO3 and A/T or M/T.

 

Yeah I chose MT simply for the fact my truck isn’t exactly my DD. I’ve got a work van I drive every day so the miles on the Tacoma don’t really rack up. When I do drive it it’s either joyride or trail ride so MT seemed like a better option to me.

 

I was in the same boat when I bought my km2's a couple years ago. Now my truck is back to DD and I don't like the km2's nearly as much for that lol. Still a solid tire, but I will probably go cooper next. I also ran the ko2's before these.

 

STT Pros are the only tire I will run until something better comes out. Pretty quiet, wears smooth, looks great, handles mud and rocks really well.

 

You mean the km3?

 

I'll wait to see how they perform. My roommate has them so we'll see first hand come AOP but as of right now...nah. My Pros are quieter than his

Also, slider prep question for you guys. Paint matte black or spray on bed liner. Or rails matte black and fill plates bed liner??

 

I just did matte black so it's easier to touch up. Bedliner is easy to touch up as well but a little more costly

 

I rock Pro Comp Vapor 2’s...Very reasonably priced, grade 8 hardware included, great fit and finish, and not a raceline...

Mine don’t leak any air at all and never throws bolt heads on the highway

 

But they do fall off...
