Wondering if possible to install the rear parking sensors in a Tacoma with out them? My truck doesn’t have them and would like to install them and wanted to know if anyone has done that or knows if it’s possible. Thanks in advance!

Serious question, but what do parking sensors do for you that the camera does not? If you are worried about it i'd get the rear camera anytime mod and call it a day.

I'd like to find cross traffic sensors aftermarket! Idiots coming down the WRONG WAY in a parking lot has reached epidemic proportions! And even if you back out at a crawl, they STILL don't stop and seem to intentionally want to scare the crap out of you!

But can I just get OEM wiring and wire it up?

What did you get - this is the cross traffic sensor or something else?

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Yes it is possible. My ‘08 had them installed. I tore them out when I got a plate bumper. Never really used them.

It was a basic kit like this. Simple. Just audible beeps. There are lots that have a small screen with range etc.
