    done it twice but both times on a dirt bike. i have driven a class 1 buggy along the track after the race but that was just for fun. having said that i have never seen a truck on this forum that could take that punishment including mine...

    No 1000 for me this year. Money, time, and preparation are just not there. If the Primm 300 goes well I'm going to target the Mint 400 in March for my next race.

    very nice truck, i just skimmed over the post for a few pages trying to see what all was done to the truck. did that guy ever race the truck or anything, and how did it go?

    It didn't go well. I was rushing to finish everything and installed a uniball housing upside down.

    This time around will be far better. Everything's installed correctly, I converted the UCAs to heim joints, gusseted the coil buckets, double-sheared the UCAs mounts, and am going through the truck currently to make sure everything is in place.

    Replacing a few bent/broken leafs in the rear, wheel bearings in the front, sticky rear brake caliper, etc. Just making sure all the maintenance is done so I survive this time around.

    Also doing a lot of maintenance on the tow vehicle to make sure it's more than 100% so I make it home no matter what. :p
