Unless you have Alzheimer's disease I think that your memory is just as good as when you were in grade school. My wife's mother had Alzheimer's for the last 10 years of her life and it was a terrible thing. My proof that your memory is just as good as when you were in grade school is did you ever know anyone who always had perfect 100s on every test? Of course not! We have always forgotten things on occasion and old people just get a bad rap.

I have been driving for over 50 years and this is my first truck. I got tired of borrowing a friend's truck once a year for towing so I finally got my own a couple years ago. You are never too old for a truck and never too old to do your own mods. All 16 of my mods have been done by myself as this is one of my hobbies in retirement. Hopefully, my next mod will be FI as this truck really needs boost. I haven't decided on a turbo from OV tune or a supercharger from Magnuson. We will see when they come out.

BTW,..... What was the name of this thread again?

The pot had nothing to do with memory loss, either. Or possibly I've always been absent minded but just forgot past lapses. Point being, you get one brain and like your teeth they both have to last a lifetime and are susceptible to abuse.

I am hoping to make a 2021 or 2022 my 8 Toyota pickup/Tacoma if Toyota makes some changes that I am hoping for. I like that they have added the power drivers seat, now I would like to see a 8 way passenger seat, since I don’t aways drive. I drive a lot of miles every year, so I want to be comfortable at 62 or 63

I just worry that I'm getting so dang good looking the older I get. Can you look too good for your age?

I just turned 40 and bought my first Taco last year. It’s the 3rd daily driver I’ve owned since college. First 2 ran for 200,000+ (2000 Jeep Wrangler & 2007 FJ Cruiser). Liked the FJ so much I decided to stick with Toyota. And couldn’t be happier with my Tacoma (even though I can’t stop making mods).

Of the 5 guys at my work that have Toyota Tacoma’s (which is about 33% of us) our ages are as follows:
    62, 60,53, 50 and 43.

Old enough that reliabiity is a bigger priority than tech or go fast goodies - thus the Taco!

I'm 27. I was definitely surprised by how many older guys drive these things.

My dad had one of them, drove it till the body rusted off.

    He'll be 85 this August, but he drives a 5.7 4x4 Tundra.
