I can do it in the driveway no problem wouldn't want to mess your garage up or my truck. Or get it stuck in there.

Installing vinyl flooring (should be an option in Tacomas, IMO) in the taco soon, so if anyone needs relatively clean gray carpet, let me know. As long as I don’t destroy it upon removal it will be free to a good home. DBCB

Why vinyl and not bed line it if you’re going through all the trouble of ripping out the interior?

Everything I’ve read is the floors aren’t level and all the wiring that runs throughout, blah blah blah. Rock auto has the vinyl for about $150, so I figured I’d go with it. May also be a better option if I ever sell.

Black carpet is not all that it’s cracked up to be. It shows every hair and piece of dirt. I was almost tempted to switch to gray, lol. Almost.

The rears were giving me trouble, so those will stay for another day. The UCA bolts are long enough to be a pain in the ass. It's on now though, took from 9am to midnight but its finally done.

I recently bought a pair of BHLM headlights and took them to my local Toyota dealer (Town & Country) today for install. The service advisor said they could do it no problem, but then a few hours later they called back saying the tech didn’t feel comfortable swapping the lights himself. Apparently he was having issues removing the front bumper from the fender flares and was afraid he’d break something. So they gave me my truck back and said I need to schedule an appointment with their body shop, and that now it will be a 3+ hour install, which I’m sure will cost a fortune. I’ve been told that people that know what they’re doing can install these in much less time than that. I’m not comfortable installing myself so looking to pay someone to do it. Any advice on where I should turn to next for getting my new headlights installed? If anyone knows of some good local shops in the Charlotte area that work with Tacomas or anyone that has done this before that wants to make some extra cash, please let me know. Thanks!

Shitty service, for sure. Any tech should know how to take off a bumper.

It takes 20mins to take off the bumper and swap lights. All you need is a 10mm and philips screw driver.
