John Elway's Crown Toyota in Ontario California off the 15. They've handled everything without issue since I had my Tundra in 2002 and now my Tacoma for the last three years.

Toyota of North Charlotte. Bought my Cement 18’ OR here in July. Brought it in for TSB 62-18 last Thursday and they gave me no problems whatsoever. It took about an hour and half though, this place always seems pretty busy. Their customer service is top notch so far.

I like the idea of having a list of good dealers, I think maybe changing the title to something less direct may be better IMO. Again, I completely support the spirit of the thread and your intentions.

    Stock and staying that way
I honestly don't know if they have done any TSB's on my truck or not, as I'm usually in a hurry to get back to work, and haven't asked for them. But Freeman Toyota in Hurst Texas has been a pleasure to deal with. They did the 5/10/15/20/25k maintenances and replaced the battery when it failed. I plan to do the 30/40/50k oil changes & tire rotations, and 35/45/55k tire rotations, but take it back to them for the 60/80/100k services, to have a real mechanic look it over.

Stock suspension, stock wheels, stock bumper, stock, stock, stock, dammit!
I think you have to ask for it. Right now, Toyota is taking a head in the sand approach to the update or they wouldn't require the techs to replicate the problem after a customer complains before they apply the update. I would ask.

Toyota of Newnan in GA will NOT perform the update unless they can replicate the issue, even talked to the Service Manager (Mike)...Called my purchasing dealer (LaGrange Toyota) , which is ~60 miles away, and they said they would have to replicate the problem too...

That's step 2 of every TSB that exists, step 1 being make sure the car fits the category...

I have my truck serviced at SM toyota too. Matt normally helps me out. Been great so far. They did have me take a tech on a test drive for the rear end howl because they couldn't replicate. I just hopped on the toll road and made it howl all the way to Portola for him. Had the parts ordered that day and TSB done the next week.

I agree with this, while the chances are slim, this post will probably do more harm than good.

There’s nothing wrong with a dealer needing to drive the car to verify. It’s a real problem, and they should be able to verify it.

The problem is when they refuse to see it. Unfortunately, “Stumble” is a non-empirical term.

My SA said TSB 58-18 and 62-18 did the same thing, and only did one. The shift point one!
