Hi! I go to steamboat every year end of August, but this will be the first year with my Tacoma. I was hoping to hit up a trail in Steamboat while im down there. Looking at https://www.trailsoffroad.com/ i couldn't find a single off-road trail in or around Steamboat within a reasonable distance. Is this really the case?

    Appreciate your help!

Stop by the FS and grab a free MVUM.

There's a huge network of trails north of town. Nothing too challenging though. FS409 loop to the top of Farwell would be my first recommendation.

No worries. There's quite the maze of roads up there, so a map would be helpful.

Hit me up when you're here, and I'll see if I can join you on a trail.
