yeah....definitely not something I thought I'd have to deal with in my 30's, thought I'd have another solid decade or so before having to give in to that. Was having really bad GI problems though and they thought I might have colon cancer so they had to rule it out, as soon as they told me that I was like...do whatever you have to do, but I will not be awake for that lol.

I'm surprised you even remember that. I remember when my older brother got his pulled. About an hour after we got home he was talking, then in mid sentence stopped and looked around, and asked "how did I get here?" He had no idea what he was just talking about, and the last thing he remembered was being in the chair at the dentist.

 

It's only a bad experience if you make it one...

I was pretty conscious of the whole thing. The only part I don't remember is the operation itself. I do remember vividly watching the doctors work above me. Like a dream.

Doc gave me a pill to take an hour before I went in. I was high AF. My dad drives me in (I was 18), and I'm sitting there leaning on the counter swaying back and forth, and the receptionist looks and me and says "I see you took your pill." I look back and give her the ol' finger gun salute and a wink.

I don't really like needles, but last thing I remember is very intently watching as he sticks the vein in my arm.

I hated needles for years. I was terrified of them.

I passed out one day and the ambulance came and picked me up. Of course they had to stick tons of needles in my arms. I watched him put it in, and then I realized how stupid that fear was. I don't know why I hated them for so many years.

 

She's not single, just dating the anesthesiologist and @BartMaster1234 now...
