I was up late & bored the other night , so I shot a text to Mike (05OFFROAD) who just got off work & we decided to take a run to Pine Valley at 12:30 am just because we've never been there at night & we NEVER imagined all the activity that was going on there out of view of the public. There was some kind of meeting or event going on down in 1 of the deep canyons below the Heliport where most of you who've been out there knows where this is. It was strange & I'll admit , a little creepy especially when we heard voices fairly close to us (about a 100 or so yards away, so while we were at the Heliport I started to tell these guys (Mike & his buddy) a few stories about the really wierd goings-on that I've experienced out in the east county hills over the years, everything from wild ,drunken biker parties to full on (alleged) Devil or Satanic (same thing I guess)worship, now whether or not you believe any of this is no concern of mine, I know what I've seen & I know what I believe. I guess the whole point of this thread is not so much the trail run but that theres much more going on in the hills than just squirrels, rabbits, & illegals.. Anyone else have a wierd experience while trailing at night ??

    Yeah.
Dawson Forest. Saw an old abandoned house with matresses and stuff in it. We were doing donuts and the temperature started goin up and we had to turn the car off. Right when we parked in the middle of a field. It sounds like someone slapped one of the rear windows and punched the roof of the car.

Hey Tri whats up bud ? Yeah those lights of Mike's are brighter than hell HID's on steroids or something, Corral canyon will have to wait a little longer for me until I get some new rubber & I'm really starting to like your "Offroad attitude" bro', you guys took on a difficult trail & succeeded (despite Brian blowing out his front diff. I think it was) Peejay told ya to get a little flatblack to touch up your rims & you replied" I'll just leave it, it won't be the only scratches I get." Or something to that effect. Anyway you guys got a taste of the rough stuff & are aquiring a taste for it !!! I love it. But we'll be trailing soon dude......:D:eek::D:eek:

Yeah ha Doug kept saying the whole time they're bright as hell. I've been pulled over twice for them but I aimed my headlights and did the anytime fog lights and now I run my fogs only at night, which is still brighter then most lights...but anyways.

They're DDM tuning hids. Tops are 6000k 55 watt h4 high low kit with the slim ballasts, and the fogs are 8000k h10 35 watt. I'm thinking about getting 55 watt fog lights too :D

Haha, I think if I had Brian with me I would hit up the trail again. Or someone else that is willing to spot me. It was rough but when you get out of something like that after experiencing what we experienced it was a good feeling. I need to get new tires too and skids and sliders and a bumper and the list goes on and on. As for the rims...it give it character. If I wanted a mall queen I would have bought spacers and some 20 inch bling blings!!!
