Yeah we've been, and no, winches are not required or needed. I've done some trails bone stock with no issue whatsoever. And having talked with some of the guys that have done Black Gap Road and such, it's quite tame as well with only a few dicey sections. Not saying it's all a cake walk, but we should be able to handle anything without any damage.

 

We wanted to do the cruise thing because most of our friends/family would have to travel anyway, so let's have a vacation! And honestly, none of my family travels, or behaves themselves very well, so it was kinda convenient; none of them showed up! We did have 60 folks join us, and it was a blast.

No idea. I would still need to get some time off from work which for me is pretty hard. I’m the only person working on the shift that I work.

That's actually really cool. The thing is Maxtraks would be a stand in for being too lazy to pile rocks if Zeb's new Cheby Silverdough couldn't make an obstacle, not really for getting out of sand/mud.
