Got my evo 4g today!

This thing is sweet...I thought I wouldn't like android but I love it.

 

Androids are awesome.....

 

Do you get 4g signal in your area?

I love mine, had it since Friday. Still learning about Android, since coming from Iphone

 

Just saying, but the individuals who are switching over for Androids are going to be kicking themselves for switching over.

The iPhone 4 is supposed to be the phone of the year and on- Thats a long time for only ONE PHONE from a company.

i've been considering upgrading from my blackberry to this phone.. i'm sure i won't get 4g coverage here but i just really like the phone itself. to those of you who have it now, even without 4g coverage are you still overly happy with the phone?

 

o shit!... do you really have to add that extra data crap to your plan to have that phone?! f that... guess i'll be staying with my crapberry.

 

yea i really liked all the features it has and whatnot... but don't really want to jack up the bill more.... hmm.

 

I am using my evo 4g right now, 4g coverage in KC. The phone is unreal speed, battery life could be better, I am sure there will be some updates to improve that though. When I was getting mine on Friday there were three dudes in front of me all coming from iphones, really this is a better phone, maybe not media player but smartphone. I am happy...saw the new iPhone yesterday...underwhelmed IMO. Sprint is better network if you are in a mid to major market as well, and 4G is like broadband, seriously.

 

There is a widget. To manage battery life.

 

So far only issue is the in call volume is to low using a wired earpiece with Mic.

 

I just confirmed yesterday that it's Exchange activsync feature works like a charm with my corporate email infrastructure. Until now I was forced to stick with windows based phones.
Now I'm trying to scramble for the $200 it takes to get the phone when it's back on the shelves. Amazing.

 

New iPhone... who cares if the service is shitty and you have no signal

 

well, except for that fact that apple is anti anything that isn't apple or that everyone complains about att service.


give me an EVO with 4G internet. oh yeah
