I bought the access cab cause I think it's the best looking, but with kids I sometimes wish I'd have held out for a DCLB. Not gonna trade in though. Not yet at least...it's doable with the AC but not ideal. We have an 02 CRV for primary kid duty.

I took off my air damn the first day. Stock title went into the garage with it. Do I qualify?

If there is a cargo mat for the rear seats could someone post a link? My seats stay folded down because I haul my guitars around. Problem is that they tend to slide around on the plastic backing.

There are reasons why people modify their trucks and you've touched on them. Stuff like sliders and skid plates, lockers and improving suspension to be better at handling and carrying payload are to increase reliability and make the truck better suited for the task.

Boils down to the point we're making is no one should feel they have to do any much. In fact I think newbies should drive a stock truck to get a feel for what they really need and want as well as gain experience. Then when/if you do mod you'll be a much better driver.

I am a 37 year old fart who thinks you pay a ton of money on a truck like ours that is designed by people much smarter than me and therefore should be left stock for best reliability. Also, being a hunter and going the places I go to hunt, this truck gets me to 100% of the spots I want/need to go. My old Prerunner got me to 90% of the spots I wanted to go, but I did get it stuck once and almost stuck a bunch of times. This truck stock is unstoppable for what I need it to do.

Given all that, I do enjoy watching you guys build your rigs and give you props for making it yours. Just a case of different strokes ya know.

EDIT: I guess I have bought a couple of things for my truck more so for its protection if you consider a bed mat, Husky floor mats and seat covers mods. ;-)

So far I've added the following: tint on the front windows, tonneau, carbon fiber tailgate inserts, matching CF inserts for the AC vents, seat covers for the front seats and the AC drain mod.

That's all I plan to do until I need new tires, and I'll probably just move up slightly in size to 265/75/16 and maybe some Bilstein 5100's to beef it up a tad.

Not completely stock, but close. I added mud guards, floor mats, a console organizer, 10 inch sub and amp. I still want to add tinted windows and a bed mat. I like the composite bed, but a lot of the stuff I carry likes to slide around too much for my liking. Now I'm just waiting for my tires to wear out so I can upgrade to all terrain tires, but that will be a ways down the road, just crossed 15000 miles.

A bed mat is the best $100 you'll spend...

    Now if where talking options....

Same here. At most, maybe the air intake, but I did do the A/C drain mod though.

You’d be surprised what one of our trucks can do all stock.

New drop hitch, couldn’t put a rusty one on it, tube steps ordered, in today hopefully. Remote start installed tomorrow, locking lug nuts ordered because I sometimes take my boat out at night, mostly deserted boat ramps. Windows were tinted as a port added option. Got my eye on those led turn signals. Splash guards in back seat going on this weekend.
As far as suspension and tires I won’t do anything to them
