Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Head out to Mattole Beach. Great little spot. The local yocals keep yankin out the pay boxes at the campground sites. I’ve camped there a few times in the past year and never have to pay. There is also Usal Beach, Shelter Cove and Needle Rock. All great places to camp. If you want dispersed camping, good luck.

Did Usal Beach recently, there were quite a few people there for a weekday. There are fire rings on the beach you can camp at if all the spots are taken. There were some high school kids partying on the beach, not sure if they're back in school now.

...ok, once this happens, bumpers are being ordered!

 

we have a 17 Tacoma short bed that's coming into the shop this week. he wants a pretty big build. bumpers, sliders, lift, wheels and tires, winch, and then he is trying to decide on a rtt setup. he messaged us about an alu cab and camper shell setup but said it was about $10k after shipping and everything and that's a little too high for his current budget. he is taking off to Canada in about 8 weeks or so for a BIG trip and wants it ready before then. I'm trying to talk him into the drifter... we shall see what he says
