    Just a fyi these dont work with the locking gas caps. Had to dremel a bit out to make it work

    I’ve love mine but getting the screw out was a pain in the ass! Had to replace the screw with a stainless steel one.

    Thanks, seen that after the fact, started reading after I installed it. No problems with the screw, used Sea Foam Deep Creep, #3 Phillips with a 1/4" ratchet.

    Got mine and installed it. Very happy!

    My screw wasn't rusted at all and it was still super tight. I had to cut a slot with an angle grinder and then used a big slotted screw driver with a wrench on it for torque.

    I put my body behind the fuel door and pulled the screwdriver towards myself (looked like I has going to stab myself) to avoid pushing on the fuel door hinge too much. It worked perfectly after that.

    Does anybody know if this will work for a 1985 4Runner? Im afraid one day ill forget my gas cap on the tire and drive off? I guess I could order one and put in on Taco if it doesn't work.
