Anybody ever get eaten by a bear while sleeping in a RTT?

I might end up getting some. Carried a can from Banff to Steamboat when I did a bike tour out there, ended up having more issues with black bears than with grizzlies. Weight is probably close to the same as my little ruger lcp but I wont have to worry about stashing it out of the rain or anything.

yes, friend in BC had lotsa probs on his property with black bears, also while they hunt.

No, but you can't have a RTT either with a Soft Topper unless you have some in depth, custom fabrication.

Hard to believe the bears reward for sparing the guys life was a cheap shot. Hopefully some nasty tick ‘ll give these doofs Chronic Lyme Disease or something like that. Would serve them right.

Too many doofs, not enough bears IMHO.
