FWIW,
I drove it's twin, Chevy Traverse, from my friend's place in Pa. to Buffalo and back. 6 hour drive.
Drove fine, but something about the seats. They were very uncomfortable on an extended trip to the point of having to stop and walk around.
Never happened in any other vehicle I ever drove.
These seats hammered my back and legs.

Do you have to stay for the picnic and break bread with those that aggravate you or do they let you leave?

 

It might be a Traverse thing, as odd as it may seem. I drove the Acadia yesterday, and it actually felt really nice.

And the Denali at this New England Auto Place in Derby has EVERYTHING, but for some reason it's just not "sitting" right with me that the price is that low, and low miles like that for that year. We saw a Denali at the local dealership yesterday, and had 40k miles, and they were asking $35k or $36k, can't remember. So might be why this one seems "too good to be true" to me.

 

Unfortunately I do, or else I'll have to use my own time off.

 

So you still have a full day of work!

In regards to the denali, not sure about pricing, but usually if it's "too good to be true" it is. Take a hard look all around that thing if you go see it!

About the car... Luckily the dealership isn't very far from us, so we might have to make time to go see it. I'm hoping it's "legit" and not too good to be true, because it has everything the wife wants and liked on the Acadia she drove yesterday, and then some.

 

At Balise? I saw that recently too. Been entertaining the idea of a tundra just don’t know if I’m willing to take the hit on gas mileage

 

Very roomy and comfortable. My DCSB gets shit mileage, so even a tundra would be an upgrade in that aspect for me

 

I get like 16-17 in my taco, can't be much worse than that?

Morning. Quitting time at 1PM today. Heading up to the in laws cottage on Sebago Lake for the weekend. Coming back either Sunday night or Monday.

 

Spent yesterday afternoon doing a New starter and solenoid on the starboard motor and all is well for the weekend... phewww

 

Hopefully the weather is nice. If you can swing it I'd vote Monday. If I am leaving a vacation in the afternoon I am restless all day long and don't enjoy it. So relax and fully enjoy Sunday, and maybe Monday sucks a little more, but I bet it'd be worth it (nice weather permitting).

 

Yeah weather later today and tomorrow looks a little iffy, should clear up sunday though. I took Monday off, have to do some work but I'll just bring my laptop and find a coffee shop with wifi for an hour or two to get that done if we stay for monday.

That’s pretty true. I only get about 17 as well

 

Surprisingly my FJ gets better than expected mileage, still not great though. On my trip to/ back from NC I even hit 19mpg calculated. Average is 17mpg, which isn't terrible given the aerodynamics of it.

Been looking at commuter cars again, something equally as practical as the FJ that gets about double the mileage. Really enjoy the FJ but now I'm closing in on 205k miles. And I want a stick again....

 

I haven't bothered to look into it much, but uncalculated for 33s, my DCSB 6spd gets 11 around town. Even calculating in the percentage wasn't bringing it up much

 

Damn. I shouldn’t complain then haha
