Agreed, or just wrap the battery in matte black vinyl. Clean fucking build though.

Picked up a 2005 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior for $1500!

Cammed, headwork, straight pipes, power commander. This thing shakes the entire block and pulls hard. It’s stripped to bare metal, no clear or anything. Dude I have been debating between gloss black and exactly midnight blue for the past few days.....

I love the blacked out look but at the same time I want it to be unique

Midnight is pretty close to black, but not not many people have it.

Could just rub some diesel on it. Gives raw steel an awesome patina.

The power curve on those is supposed to be ridiculous....... Until the sudden drop when it loses charge.

Also I finally ordered my Lane Splitter today. Noticed that my current full-face is starting to get tacky. I made the mistake several years ago of buying a matt black helmet because I was tired of all the nicks and scratches on gloss helmets. Unfortunately, the one I bought had that rubberized coating that doesn't like solvents like gas. Well the occasional spill while fueling up has finally started to wear the coating down and I can't see a clean way of removing it all. Now I have a sticky helmet. Boo. Guess I'll retire it with the others.
