So what are you really getting? Corrected for tire size? I don’t even get close to that, corrected.

Since his tires are taller than stock his mileage is likely higher than what the odometer reads. Therefore, he would be getting slightly more than 300 miles per tank.

I'm on 285s uncorrected I get about 280 on tht highway. Lots of city driving still gets me 240. Ultra gauge says I have like 360 miles of range. But I don't trust it enough to find out. Haha

My spedo is dead on with my GPS and highway usually 275+mi/tank (once 340 with draft and a tail wind, ha). City driving is around 250 give or take. have all my gas receipts and hasn't changed much in 70k miles since new (2014). My average fill is 16-18gal.

Not exactly how that works. I run my speedo off a GPS. Mileage went down slightly on 255s due to rolling mass. My mileage went down a lot on 285s due to rolling mass and more friction on the road due to a larger contact patch. I went to 35s and regeared and went back up in mileage but never stock. Every tank my odometer is about 25-30 miles traveled less than my actual miles traveled according to my GPS.

I get around 240-250 on a tank with average fill up being 17.5 gallons.

I'll take your word for it. However, logic says if the tires are larger in diameter than stock, your odometer is going to say you traveled less miles than you actually traveled.

100% Yes, if that is the only variable that is changing. Efficiency eats the big one when you start piling on the variables like weight. I am on 265s 10ply...HEAVY arse tires for their size. Mileage took a hit and so did my braking performance/wear and upgraded brakes and suspension because the stock wasn't cutting it.

edit: I have also resigned (as with everyone else in here probably) that mileage is not something that will ever get better and we only worry when it gets REALLY bad because a fuel line has a leak or something. lol

Understood... However, I was referring to this quote...
Not speaking about actual mileage but how many miles his odometer shows per tank. Obviously, if his tires are larger in diameter than stock, he is going farther than his odometer is reading. Therefore, he is getting more than 300 miles per tank. Doesn't mean he's getting good overall mileage though.

Yeah... We got a thread nazi here so I guess it's time to get back to truck spotting here and move any future discussions to the BS thread... :D
