I think he's saying you can grab any door to have the touch sensor work. Currently it's only on the driver's door. I agree it would be great having it on the passenger door.

You can edit that in the head unit. General settings>vehicle customization>lock settings

I changed the wife's Rav to all doors by her request. She tends to have riders and extra stuff to put i the back seat more often than I do and complained that it was "a pain in her ass" to have to ope the door and press another button.

I am generally the only one in my truck so it is set to driver's door only which is the trigger for my tailgate as well where I put most of the crap I carry.

FYI.. if your wife asks you to change it to all doors do NOT explain that it is only 1 more button and that keeping the other doors all locked is for her safety. Such comments wind up flying almost as well as a lead balloon.

P.S. Thankfully she does not frequent TW :D Don't none of you go gettin' any ideas about tellin' her about my comments either. :quickdraw:

I think they were saying there is no touch sensor on the Passenger door.

I've seen your two threads. That and the Lexus key card. You're really good with that stuff. I don't know if I have the patience or skills to do it. Maybe someday. Super cool you help others out too.

Where I live here in central Florida, to and from work, I’m in a lot of stop and go traffic. The brake crap works wonders when cars dart in front of you thinking they are some sort of driving expert. But, today I got to actually drive to Orlando and back using the turnpike to pick up my PTO from LKQ for my Sterling DT and used ACC for the first time. That shiot is the Shiznitz! I don’t know how anyone really can live without it! It blew my mind!

The handle lock/unlock is useless. 1. You need the key in possession for it to lock/unlock. 2. If you can use your hand to grab the handle to unlock(I need to use my whole hand and be on the right angle with the remote in the pocket closet to the handle.) if you do all that , you can hit the door button on the remote you are carrying.

    Lol.. just my opinion.
The power seats for me is just some other electrical component that will crap out on me. I’m the guy that has part failures. (3 rear differential changes) (my 15 was damaged at the dealer when the roof and rear window we’re crushed probably on the transit truck from factory and wasn’t reported till 2 months after purchasing on my 2015 pretunner) I found that out vacuuming my truck 2 months after purchase and the tray behind the seat was filled with glass ! (the porters cleaning my 2015 for delivery scratched the radio face ) (power window motor died on my rear passenger in less than 2yrs)

**Wait ** Back to the power seats .
I can adjust the seat in any position as with the power seats except to lift higher. No one else will ever use , borrow or drive my truck. It’s where it needs to be now. My short wife would also want to drive more if she could lift her short ass over the steering wheel.
My wife refuses to drive my truck because of the “stupid 19ft high hood”. That is one of the things I like even more knowing my wife hates the scoop and will never borrow my truck.
She said door dings happen . Hey woman!!!! .. if you didn’t park on top of the cart corral or park over those little yellow painted lines called parking spots other cars wouldn’t dent the doors just trying to get in their own vehicle.

    Rant over
I’d get the power seats for resale value
