Hmmmm then I misspoke :). Because he was very interesting. Are you sure I didn’t say that when he got frustrated and used the R word. Because when people have nothing else to contribute to a discussion and revert to anger and vulgarity it is a waste of time . I can see your not like that tho.

Awww, I’m sorry I hurt your feelings bro. I didn’t mean to use “the R word”. Freudian slip?

Sad part is it's probably not. When I bought my OR, when the price wouldn't move any more, I started dealing on accessories like rubber floormats and a bed mat... when he came back with the price on the OR wheel I asked for he was shaking his head because dealer cost was over $800.

That's when you reply "well, look at it this way, you can sell the truck today and get paid or you can take a chance and hope you sell it tomorrow and wait on that commission you could have had when I was in here. Your move, sporty."

Did not hurt my feelings at all, it just shows how ignorant and weak minded people with nothing really to contribute operate.

Is that for a dozen? I think he may not have been honest with you. That is more than the retail price on a set of pro wheels. Something doesn’t pencil out here.

I never called you weak minded. Don’t be so hard on yourself man. It’s not that serious.

I'm very surprised at the amount of people on here who think these are just good business practices, but I guess that's par for the course these days. The more they screw someone over, the better, right? As long as you're smart enough to avoid it, screw the other guy.

I was pretty positive he was but that was the number that showed on the screen in parts. I really didn't care enough to push the issue because I wasn't interested at even half that price when I'm probably going to need a full set with more backspacing in a couple years.

Could be, I tried to google the price but my google skills were not effective yesterday. Also, if it was at the same dealer that started this firestorm off, they probably the bullshit cost price and the real cost price formula. Something like remove the last zero.

Yeah I can find places that sell them in the $500 range but who knows what special pricing or something have been negotiated since it's a dealership who is a large online seller.
