    Traded in my wife’s 2016 SR5P 4wd for a new highlander SE. Go ahead and tell me I’m crazy & that was a dumb move but there’s a great story behind it and it was a ridiculous deal thanks to Jeff Westcott at Right Toyota in Scottsdale AZ. Couldn’t be happier with this Highlander. I’m almost 30. This is the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned. Almost too nice. Still got my 08 tacoma. It’s not going anywhere but it is getting sliders within the next few months hopefully.

    Welp, if I’m honest the 5th gen didn’t flex anywhere NEAR as good as my taco. That SUV was always lifting a rear tire. Love my tacoma. It’s paid off. It’s used and abused and loved. The 5th gen was great and I officially lived “the hype”. I even had a Gobi rack. The 5th gen is great but not necessary for us at this time in our lives. Lots of other reasons too.

    I'm just jibbin ya. And mine doesn't flex as well either but that's because it's our mall crawler and I don't have it set up to. I will say that it smokes my truck in the snow but for obvious reasons. Limited + selectable 4wd = MFW

    The Highlanders are nice and we looked at them, but my wife is on her second T4R and said the Highlander drove to much like a minivan. But as long as it fits your needs, it is still a great vehicle.

    Taco is paid off and set for sliders, skids and a HC rear bumper. I’m just getting started. This tacoma is capable and reliable enough to take me and my family anywhere but also old enough for me to have so much fun with and do a ton of my own maintenance and wrenching and not make too many expensive mistakes. Love this truck. If it gets wrecked I’m gonna rebuild it even better and likely go 35’s
