Oh this is the 5-lug bed. I’m de-spotwelding the bedsides and putting it on a new shell with a Bedlined deck.

It’s getting cut up and thrown out. Makes an excellent work area though.

I can do it. I just like asking questions and making sure I’m doing it right.

No, you don't. I forgot you have your shackles off entirely so you can just put them on each side at a time. When I put my All Pros in, I left my shackles intact so I had to put the leaf eye in first then the bolt. Don't worry you're good.

I think @Crodell6 suggested to buy the harbor freight canopy? Great investment.

Your setup is different though being 5 lug right? SUA? Not sure if that makes any difference in whether or not its easier to keep them on or off

You're young and more limber and not overall encumbered like us old folk are...that's an advantage

I don't know why anyone in their right mind would want a bed without bedsides. Come pick it up after I remove them and it's yours.

It's far better than my old Walmart one. That one was hard to put up and break down, this one is excellent. I'm surprised how good the quality for Harbor Freight. I bought these canopy weights off Amazon so it's perfect.
