I didn't like tying down the tent, so this is a great alternative.

AAL's are stupid easy to install, at least a single one like mine

 

Worse case i cut the rear 1/4 off tge bed and make a couch

Okay then. Saves me a trip to the dump. I'll let you know when I have all my old suspension out.

 

So by the end of the day

 

I still have to drill out all the spotwelds on the bed, might take a while. Maybe tomorrow.

 

you should be able to leave it on. Just jack it up and put some jack stands under the frame. remove wheels and support axle housing with floor jack, then remove the U-bolts and leaf clamps and bob's your uncle.

 

Left it on, second side seriously took like ten minutes, I'd never take it off to do an AAL. Make sure you have a big c clamp to help though. Impact for ubolts is nice to have, and make sure you have new ones obviously, buts it's easy
