The Tundra needs a complete bumper to bumper redesign. Everything. Styling. Frame. Drive trains.

I don't know man. Research ecoboom. You can literally read posts about premature engine failure until your eyes fall out. Not once have I heard about problems like that from the tundra.

The internet is an echo chamber and the squeaky wheel gets the grease - those with positive experiences are frequently drowned out. When it's outselling the Tundra 8:1, you're going to have a far greater number of reported issues and that gives a false sense of reality. If you read the industry reports, the actual reliability ratings of the Tundra aren't significantly better than any of the big 3. - even during the era of the 3.5L issues.

'18 AC here. No power rear window. :(

Still better than the new Rangers, where any sliding window will be an upgrade/option.

I don't know how a 4 inch headliner drop could make it feel roomier in the cab, but maybe I'm crazy.

Lol at 8:1 you're falling for ford accounting trickery where they combine all F-series not just F-150. I've been in fleet sales and people buy the F150 because its cheap, guarantee if Toyota wanted to whore out the Tundra and sell it for the same price fleet managers would eat up Tundras because they are in fact more reliable and hold MUCH better resale value.

If the F150 was as reliable as the Tundra then it wouldn't have such shitty resale value.... Just for kicks I booked out a 2007 F150 vs a 2007 Tundra:

Tundra retail market average miles 132k average price $15,347
F150 retail market average miles 122k average price $11,866 (even with on average less miles its worth less $)

Tundra average auction miles 168k average price $8k
F150 average auction miles 144k average price $6,460 (again less miles, and still less $)

    Retail book value Tundra $17,476
Retail book value F150 $13,098 (even the banks know its worth a LOT less)

You'll find the same trend for every single model year Ford vs Toyota, anecdotes are bullshit I can find a chevy cavalier with 300k problem free miles but the cavalier is still a piece of shit... thats why I prefer data as the market doesn't lie ;)

I've also worked for auto groups that have both Ford and Toyota, its laughable the % of warranty claims ford has vs toyota, when you're a service writer for Ford literally over half your income comes from warranty claims because they can't even get their vehicles past 60k miles before having a shit load of problems. When you're a service writer for Toyota its more like 20%.

As was mentioned, moonroof without cover, more light, makes it seem more ‘space’.
Doesn’t hit my head at me being 6’-3”.....since I don’t look up to see how far off the roof that is from my head and doubt I could tell a 4” delta between moonroof or no moonroof. Where do you get the 4” difference from?

Well, that’s good to know! Thanks for that info! I have a 2017 TRD OR and a good friend just bought a Ford 150 4x4....he gets like 25 mpg to my 16 mpg averaging 80 mph, we live in Texas. Did make me look at the F150’s....just look though. Love my Tacoma.....and spent too much $ and time modding it.
I’ll stick to my Tacoma...nice to know what you mentioned.

My head rested on the headliner of the sunroof truck. I have an entire fist on my non sunroof truck. I imagine it's got to be really close to that.

    I dunno about that........the 2019 Pro's have a dual hood scoop.

There are already renderings of the 2023's with 5 scoops. This is Toyota's update plan for the Tundra - 1 extra scoop per year.

The 19 pro Tacomas with the snorkel will too. I think they should put one on each side to balance things out.

Bought my 18 OR today and the dealer told me the tariffs are fixing to hit. He said $1800 per truck but I'm not sure if he's correct or not but figured I'd pass it on.
