    48 led panels are like $1-12 on eBay depending on wiring configuration lol, so I hope not.

    If you want to paint the housing, the LED boards are easily removable. I made them for this reason. See here:

    Thanks for the quick video! I assume the same general technique will work with our map lights? My overhead console is black as well, would love to paint my maps to match as well.

    Yep anytime between now and then. He may not do it on purpose as this is a side project but it is a great marketing strategy. He has us all hanging and waiting. Must have go to the Apple school of marketing. In no way am I trying to knock MESO he puts out a great product. If Toyota would have put this out we would be here. Toyota use a 30 year old design MESO is much more modern looking and less intrusive in the head liner with less change of the "lens" being broken.
