I see now how my motions may have been incorrect for what I was trying to get across. Either way, he pulled over, so win/win. He was DTF prior to seeing the fire I guess.

Think I’m going to check this place out even though it’s a drive. My alignment is still a little off.

Some 33’s are 32”s and some change then subtract for tire wear that could come into play

Haven’t been in the thread for a week and just catching up.

In the past 3 years, round trip commute went from 96 miles to 46 miles to 12 miles... to 62 miles. Company I worked for was bought and had to report to the regional office.

Now it is 7 miles with no tolls. Full time building campers now. And supplying you guys with off-road parts.

    Exactly. Stopped being fun 10
years ago. Now I only work half days. But there’s 24 hours in a day...

Actually putting in more than that, but it’s all for something I believe in.

Now that you know Vagabond is how I pay the bills...

    We’re a dealer for:

    Baja Designs
    Blueridge Overland Gear
    Dometic
    Frontrunner Outfitters
    Goosegear
    Total Chaos

    HMU if you need something.

For non-custom sets, we can have Kings in a week through TC for long travel setups. I’ll check on Monday for mid travel shocks.

6 speed... second gen... assuming you’re manual trans. Speed sensor is at the driveline, as opposed to the wheel for autos. Driveshaft is spinning faster so it should show that you’re going faster than you are. Way faster for 4.88’s and 33’s. Mine shows 75 at 65 mph on 35’s. My rear tires are pretty worn, so YMMV. But definitely faster. 3000k at 70 mph using Waze & Gaia. You could be close to 3000K on 33’s with 4.88’s. @BudMan could probably give you more accurate info.

If you found a calibrator that works for MT’s, please share the info! Racking up higher mileage than actual right now.

As previously mentioned, we’re a TC dealer. Talk to me Chris!

For whatever reason my gear change did not affect my speedometer, I've verified with apps and those roadside radar speed signs, my speedometer is reading accuratly.

I did find s calibrator that works, it's an inline module that calibrates at the speedometer. Used it to adjust for the 33s, verified mileage with GPS.

Not enough to have a build thread.
Actually most 33s are 32.7-32.8 in diameter. Most tires are like that. Except 39.5s. Those are a true 39.5. And quite cost effective compared to 40s which are typically 39.7-39.8

I said it to @MJonaGS32 and I'll say it to you. Hella :jellydance:. But very happy that the American dream is still alive and you're living it.

Everyone is always talking about how many inches and size matters. I choose to let my wife speak for me.
