So plan was to meet with lilmanny at 4am in ensenada but got a text from him cancelling, left sd at 3am, got to ensenada and headed out to ojos negros around 4 am. Got to ojos negros, federales blocked road, they finally let up and let all the 30 cars waiting at the gate go in.
As soon as the federales let us in, it was a tacoma trail run alot of ass hauliing, dust, dips, ruts, jeeps, tacomas, station wagons, broncos, rangers, tundras, fords, everything thing man, mini vans too!.
We found a good spot and parked, then some truck parked right next to us and annoyed us, if its packed what can we do right? But it was empty and they decided to park next to us, play annoying music, talk all ghetto.
So we left, parked by a sick curve, saw the quads and dirt bikes go by then realized, the curve was fucked up, one half of the road was on 2 feet lower than the other half meaning if these guys drift the curve and hit the 2 ft wall, theyre gonna roll towards us.
We head half mile down to a creek, except the spectators decided to build a dam and make a mud pit, cool! Except where we were was just the beginning of the 482 mile race, why would the racers risk going through the pit hauling ass? Ha they wouldnt so they all slowed down before crossing, some didnt give a shit but for the most part noone gave us a big bang!
Anyways man alot of u guys r scared to come down, pfft! This was safer than the fucking desert in the u.s, no drunks fighting or crashing. I mean here if u fuck around ur gonna get checked but for the most part everyones here to drink, watch a race, and leave.
But dont fuck around, these spectators are nothing to fuck with. Some guy decided to turn around and leave the area driving against the racers traffic, they held up some class 1 racer, if there was a definition for a walk of shame it was this. He held up the racer alittle north of the creek, when THEY came down to the creek, ive never seen a 4runner get welcomed with so many full beers thrown at them in my life. Maybe 20 beers launched at the same time. And some racers werent going fast enough and everyone kicked water inside their trucks, pistol petes co-pilot flipped the crowd off hardly anyone noticed or
else he woulda been given 20 beers too

pic will be up soon, theyre uploading

    Nice Mario!

We camped out at RM80 i think.. right by BFG pit#1.. Watched the Bikes, Quads & most vehicles pass by then left that spot at around 3pm. We went to Ojos Negros and went into RM 395. It's a long valley where you can see them coming down the valley and into the wash. Good times down in Baja again. Can't wait for the 1000!! I hope it's a loop race and not all the way down to La paz.. I want to see them twice as usual. Anyway, Here are a few pics. i'll post up the video we took whenever my buddy edits it - knowing him, a few weeks from now...

First Spot- Rm80ish Just past BFG pit#1
