This season has just been plain boring to me. The 17 destroying Daytona didn't help. I am sick of tuning in to see the 4, 18 & 78 dominate the sport. I still watch them all but don't care like I once did.

Yeah I'm into it @MadDaddy but no1 comments here anymore. These people need some Caramel M&Ms and some Rowdy NOS to calm down and focus on what really matters... The 18 in victory lane

I think the season is simply too long to maintain elevated excitement among fans. I say cut back to 24 races +2 exhibition events. Visit each track only once. Rotate the All-Star Race to different speedways that have been on the schedule for 50 years (Charlotte, Atlanta, Darlington, Bristol, Martinsville). Hit Road Atlanta, Road America, and Iowa. It's a shame none of these fantastic tracks is on the CUP schedule. Give drivers a weekend off every month to recharge and be with their families. I'd recommend cutting Vegas, Kansas and Chicagoland.

    February:
    Daytona Clash (exhibition)
    Daytona Twins (qualifying race)
    Daytona 500

    March:
    Road Atlanta
    Talladega
    Circuit of the America's

    April:
    Phoenix
    California
    Sonoma

    May:
    Texas
    Road America
    Michigan
ALL-STAR RACE: Rotate Darlington, Atlanta, Charlotte roval, Martinsville, Richmond (exhibition)

    June:
    Indianapolis
    Iowa
    Kentucky

    July:
    Pocono
    New Hampshire
    Watkins Glen

    August:
    Summer break

    September:
    Dover
    Richmond
    Martinsville (Regular Season finale)

    October: (5 race Playoff)
    Bristol
    Charlotte
    Darlington

    November:
    Atlanta
(Week off to build suspense & prepare)
    Homestead (Finale)

Feel good win for the monotone boy. Ryan Blaney is with him over in Dawsonville right now. They got off the plane to a welcome home group of local fans.

Except for the CEO getting a DUI while having drugs. All the shit talking about Chase's lack of talent, he takes it to the best in the sport and gets props from even KB who never speaks well of any other driver and...... Crickets!!! LOL.

Not really. Watched a handful of races this year. Still disliking the new program and rules etc. I'll bet they've lost ratings this year.

Wow, you really do support your driver! That's what NASCAR is supposed to do I guess. Funny, all those years of being an Earnhardt fan, I never spent money on his sponsors. Maybe some Bud Light occasionally. :D Now my commercial insurance policy is NationWide, which bought out the old company that insures the shop.

Speaking of sponsors, I won a contest back in '95 or '96 with Racing for Kids Magazine (I *think* Dale Earnhardt and Ken Squier or Mike Joy owned it but I could be wrong. Jeff Gordon eventually bought into it). They had a contest to see who could name the most NASCAR affiliate sponsors. I named 300+ and won a bunch of RfK branded school supplies and NASCAR & NHRA trading cards.

I cannot fathom how anyone could be a KB fan after his childish attitude last night. He is undoubtedly one of the most talented drivers to have ever been in a stock car but man what he shows in spades for talent is just overwhelmed by complete childish behaviour. What a loser as a person, I feel sorry for his wife and child as he must be a real piece of crap to live with.

To be pacing the field by over three seconds, overdrive your car to the point of hitting the wall, leading to a blown tire and breaking the car. To yelling at an official "where the F*CK do you want me to go" when you get out and know you have to go to the infield care center. Having time to cool off and then when interviewed you throw your arms up and roll your eyes like a three year old when you flat out screwed up. What a prick! He should have apologised to his team and fans for screwing up a dominate car that his team built for him. Good job you self absorbed prick!!

I hope he finds the same fate this evening!!
