I have a Rockauto after market tailgate on my truck. The fit isn’t bad but the metal is thin. Mine has dings all over it just from the kid climbing in and out of it. But I figured for the price I can buy anther one from Rockauto have it painted again and still be be ahead of the price of an OEM.

I broke my rear Diff. ECGS is fixing it under warranty.

When I regeared I had 33s and was “never going 35s”... so I went 4.56s.

I asked ECGS, since they were changing the ring & pinion in the rear anyway, if the could throw in 4.88s, AND what it would cost to do the front.

Rear is free, front is the cost of R&P, “mini install kit”, & two hours labor.

I’ll be dragging my trailer out to UT again this fall, I’ll take all the help I can get. Seemed like a no brainer to me.

ADS offered to revalve my coilovers one time free of charge. I didn’t want to have my truck down while they did it. It’s down now, so I’m going to send those out too.

Also doing new balljoints and poly bushings in the LCAs.

4.88 makes sense then.



I’d love to swap mine out for 4.30 just to get closer to stock Hwy RPM’s...

4.56 is over geared a bit IMO when you factor in the crawl box.

I tell you, I’m so glad I went through ECGS. Those guys are great. They completely went through the rear Diff this spring when they rebuilt the ARB. Also under warranty.

Five year warranty on diffs that get wheeled? I mean, who does that?

4.88s with 35’s and an auto??

I’m gonna have to look at the gear ratio calculator again.

I have 4.56s/35s/auto

 

So did I. It was OK. Especially with the Supercharger.

I wouldn’t have paid full price to change to 4.88s. It just worked out.
