Slap a zip tie or hose clamp on that bad boy, then dump epoxy all over it, and in the center of the fan and along the crack and shove the motor back on it then let her sit for about 12 hours. Mine ran for over 5 weeks like that and it worked like a charm. And they dealer didn't say a thing when they swapped it out for free

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the heads up on the blower motor. Not all dealers are forthcoming with this info. If anyone has a similar issue they can now approach the dealer with some knowledge.

The owners letter will be sent out in september. If you go to the dealer or call in now, and you haven’t got the letter, your dealer will run your vin to see if your truck applies for the campaign and start the process if it is affected.

If you install the Toyota Owners app and enter your information it should show you any services that are needed for your vehicle.

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
    Texas

It's a form letter, it obviously has blanks to autopopulate, and they simply filled in Hawaii, instead of, say, Namibia or Serbia or Lebanon. HI gained statehood in 1959. In fact, today (Aug 17) is known as Admission Day, and is a State holiday. This is the day HI gained statehood. Toyota North America apparently hasn't got the memo yet. I'm American, and I was born in America.

One thing I struggled with all my life is picking up on sarcasm. I'm still working on it so bare with me here please.

So I am going to assume you mis-read post #63 and that is why you keep asking the same question in multiple threads. Both types of HVAC controls (auto&manual) use the same blower motor. Toyota OEM part# 87103-04050.

If its sarcasm, then I will just say that the "misleading information" comment was not directed at you. Just stating my opinion based on the few comments I saw before I posted. You were just asking a question. I get it. I really do. Apologies if it came across to you the wrong way. It's a forum. Please you are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, etc. That's why we are all here...

    Isn't it?

While you are correct that Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory, it is most definitely a part of the US. They are by law citizens of the US same as any state residents, and can move freely between Puerto Rico and the mainland just like anyone else.

That app is so shitty. Use to work for me now it always tells me my Vin is wrong. It's not. Even tried the scan barcode feature doesn't even put the right Vin in. Some characters are wrong. And even that wrong one comes back not recognized. Also do not see any entry from having it in for the ECU update the other day. I think they need a TSB for the app lol.

LOL - I don't doubt anything you've said here but I haven't experienced those issues.
I was just throwing that out there for the folks who didn't realize it was available.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Maybe in "your" state! In good ole MO -- they could care less about whether or not the "defroster" works --or even has one!
