Fun fact: you can enter Juggalos into the state gang member database if you’re a cop.

Question for those who know how to weld...is this chair fixable?
My son uses this as a gaming chair.
Any possible fix would have to be fortified as he's big 200+ lbs.
If it can be welded, can anyone recommend a shop on the westside (Glendale) and ballpark what it might cost?
Thank you in advance for any information and advice.IMAG0037.jpg IMAG0036.jpg IMAG0034.jpg IMAG0035.jpg

Thanks for the food for thought. Commute I am really not that fussed about to be honest, because I come from a particularly shit area of the east coast for that. For years my commute was 14 miles and it took me roughly a full hour. Hour and a half if the traffic was actually fucked. There were miles and miles where I would not leave 1st gear in my car, regularly. Every day. I was delighted when I got a commute that was only 9 miles and it took me a little over half an hour. The infrastructure is laughably outdated and packed to the gills. And I didn't even live in one of the notorious areas.

So understandably, when people out here are like "MY COMMUTE FUUUCKIN SUCKS! It's like 25 minutes and traffic on the 202 is terrible!" I just kind of smile and nod and go to my happy place.

The reason I'm not thrilled about Maricopa specifically is the internet selections out there are limited at best. Obviously I can't do a house-by-house breakdown but it looks like the service is more expensive for far less. I currently get about 8-12ms ping (which is great) but 100down/10up which for a house with two gamers, one of whom streams playing games for an audience, is basically the bare minimum acceptable.

Satellite is not an option because latency, and it looks like most other places wanna charge you more than I pay w/Cox for 30down/1up which simply will not work. Though to be fair, if I'm saving large amounts of money per month on a cheaper house w/less maintenance, a higher spend on internet would be offset.

I'm hung up on the garage simply because while I may only have my DD out here with me currently, my roommate needs a place to park, plus I have a Miata project car, and various other projects. I already divested myself of my dirtbike flotilla in expectation of not having a lot of room.
Most 2 car garages in the valley don't even have space for a workbench or tool chest, it's just a pen that barely allows enough room for opening a door.

I've realized that I'm gonna have to attack with a different game plan. I won't rule Maricopa out, but I'm thinking maybe San Tan is too far out there.

Yeahh that's a lot of work to get the bed off with no space.

@RPS1030 or anyone who's removed the factory bump stop things, do I need to remove the numbs from both sides of the frame? Or just the outside

Just cut the frame around it as much as you can.. Then you won't have to touch the numbs. You will have stock bumps out an weight reduction. You owe me a gallon of tea for this info:thumbsup:

So @RPS1030 since it’s @Daria birfday, does that mean you make her a sandwich? Or that she had to make yours last night prior to today, so that it’s like a day off?
