I have LT265/75R16 - it does rub the stock UCA at full lock.

Depends on how tall your going, you can go have the alignment checked for free figure out how fucked up your caster is and fix that with the spcs yourself using the manual. Then go back and have them dial the rest in for the usual fee

It probably wont rub the tc uca, but if it does n I could be wrong but pretty sure thats a result of the bs on the wheel you are running

I’m running SPC UCA’s - I sure hope it doesn’t rub. Wouldn’t a lift somewhat alleviate the rub since there’s more space between the coil over and the A arm?

That's not how a lift works, that stuff all moves relative to each other haha

    Damn...

I did try spacers, but it made the rubbing worse. At 1.25 it rubbed the mud flaps. At 1.75 it rubbed the frame.

    What @Speedytech7 said.

If your tire rubs the uca. Get those third gen wheels of your rig:boink:

    Damn. I love those wheels.

We’ll see what happens. Maybe I can get a smaller spacer.

You should be able to get the SPCs adjusted to where you won't rub. I've had zero issues rubbing on the SPC UCAs with mine and only have rubbing issues with the pinch weld. But a good custom alignment should take of that provided you aren't running big tires. 33s will likely require some trimming or flattening of the pinch weld no matter what, just par for the course.

The issue with my setup is I’m running 3rd Gen TRD OR Wheels. The backspacing is a lot less than it is on our stock 1st Gen Wheels.

I only rub the stock UCA, nothing else. Hopefully I can get it dialed in.

Sounds like its time for some 3rd gen 4Runner wheels. Or FJ cruiser wheels. I cant wait to get mine powdercoated, I miss having space between my UCA and tire. Got some center caps off craigslist today. 0818181750.jpg

I swear I’m the only person who likes 3rd Gen wheels. Haha. If I was going to get new wheels I’d probably spring for SCS ones.

I loved my 3rd gen wheels. They look great, but cause too many headaches once you start lifting and want bigger tires. Im probably gonna have to sell my 3rd gen sr5's to pay for the powdercoating, definetly gonna sell the 2nd gen TRD off road wheels Im on now once I get these 4Runner wheels mounted.

Mention me and you'll receive $25 off your bill and I'll get a $25 credit for my next alignment

Exactly why. I have 265/75/16s now and the stock UCA, no rubbing at all on stock SR5 wheels and 3rd Gen 4Runner Limited wheels. The SR5s are 4.625 BS and the 4Runner wheels are 4.5. @BartMaster1234 dump those 2nd gen wheels. Unless you are going to try spacers, not worth the hassle, just my opinion of course... :anonymous:

Yours are in much better shape than mine. Clear coat wasted in large spots. Oh well, strip em and have em refinished. Still on the fence between alloy finish or black. Really starting to lean towards black. He'll, if I don't like em, I'll sell em and go back to my stock SR5s which im fine with.

Good luck scoring a set. I hear odds are worse than Powerball. Why I settled for these 3rd gen runner wheels. Closest I'll get to them for a while. Right @Blue92 ? :hattip:
