I don't know. I haven't been hunting in 20 years and I don't have money for guided hunts or anything like that. I have a 6.5 Grendel AR upper with a 3-9x40 Leupold Scope that loves Hornady SST ammo.

 

Public land or private?

 

Both Have access to lots of places in North and East Texas, Sam Rayburn lake a lot, have places out of Stuttgart Ark.

 

What you got

 

Looking for a trip to Stuttgart. I hunt a lot in Sherman and DeKalb for ducks. And around Giddings.

 

I has no shotgun anymore.

Have not yet but it’s been on the bucket list. Me +1 on that trip for sure. Would be trip of a lifetime. Let me know if you have a hunt or 100 this season. Always down for a road trip to hunt. 98,000 miles on the truck in two years says it all

The snow geese is a blast, got a custom Browning BPS 10ga with extend mag to hammer them with. Picked up the new Benelli 3 in Max 5 camo at the end of last season, cant wait to try it out.

 

Nice, I'll definitely take you both up on the offer to bum a shotgun till I pick up another. I'm still figuring out my 6.5 Grendel for deer season. It doesn't like my lower I built with a carbine buffer (H2) that runs fine with my 5.56/.223 upper. No malfunctions with my 5.56/.223 upper and Hornady SST 6.5 rounds but my upper doesn't like Fusion 6.5 Grendel and does not reliably cycle with any of my magazines in the current configuration.

Lower: Mag Tactical 20% Magnesium Lower, CMMG lower parts kit (minus trigger group), Geissele SD3G Trigger, Magpul MIAD Grip and CTR Stock, ATI Milspec Carbine Buffer Tube and Buffer Assembly

EDIT: I use the ACS 6.5 Grendel 5-round mag and ACS 17-round 6.8 SPC mag and it doesn't make a difference for reliable cycling
