I want a 6.5 creedmore bolt action for deer hunting. Just got a 30.06 before last season. Pulled the trigger once on my biggest buck yet. Haven’t shot it since

Think it’s the striker spring and extractor

 

What is failing it? Could be related to running suppressed. A lot of pistols need different recoil springs to run suppressors reliably.

 

Yeah I switched that first thing. But I’m getting light primer strikes now

Light primer strikes shouldn't happen on a Glock unless you changed the striker spring or there's debris or fluid in the striker channel. The recoil spring change helps with the slowing of the slide with the RMR and weight on the barrel due to the suppressor. More weight on the barrel causes drag on the slide/barrel interface reducing the time the magazine has to push the next round to the top of the magazine tube, so if you're getting light strikes without changing the striker spring then I would look at the headspace on your aftermarket threaded barrel. It might be pushing the round just far enough away from the firing pin to cause light strikes, coupled with a light recoil spring it could be the reason you're getting light strikes on the rounds.

EDIT: Pushing is a wrong word to use. More like allowing the round to seat deeper away from the firing pin in the chamber.
