Ah I see. Doesn't matter now but TC's UCA service video shows an easy way how to remove & install the bushings better than I can explain.

I've used those anodized look paints before. Looks really nice when you do it right. So you went with red "anodize"?

Yeah! Against much opposition, however. I wanted to match the red of my manual hubs and calipers.

Yeah but if you went with the anodize look, it's not gonna match! :p

Got my front windows retinted again today. After 14 yrs they were faded & beat up.

Was trying to figure out what was leaving marks on the tint right above the door locks. Thought it was from my seat belt hook banging on the window but I had it on both sides so figured it had to be something inside the doors.

Turns out it was a harness plug at the bottom of the door that was rubbing against the windows. Clips weren't broken, just old & bent out of shape. Zip tied both sides & drove to the tint shop just before they close to make an appointment. They said "appointment for what?" 30 mins later & they were done. :)

Hmmm, mine rub on the frame, at full lock. Running same wheel, 265/75/16 Wrangler Duratracs. Seems like a quarter inch of spacer would be just about right. As you say, when you go out with 1 1/4, it rubs like hell on pinch weld, mud flap area.

    Really?

I’m running LT265/75R16 and it only rubs the upper control arms. Nothing else.

It's only with the duratracs. I run a different set of wheels, but the same wheel, with BFG Long Trail (straight treads), and they don't rub anywhere. It's mostly just the nubs on the edge of the tread on the duratracs. I have gotten used to it, and it is only at absolute full lock.

Same here. It’s just very minimal rubbing so I don’t worry about it.

Pretty sure a yard of dirt was about neck and neck price wise with that thing anyway
