Installed the Magnaflow off road pro exhaust today.
Going to try to return it or sell it

    @Bigpat_ca

It is very loud in the cab up to the point where it's just uncomfortable. Also the pipe dumps right onto the rear axel. I drove around and touched the rear axle by the exhaust and it was very hot. I'm sure it's not healthy for the rear axle

I've heard mixed reviews of your first point, but the axle heat is new. I think you just saved me some money. May just do the oem exhaust chop instead.

I was hoping to make my exhaust a little louder but the Magnaflow was louder than I expected. If I can't find another exhaust I also might chop the stock exhaust just go it doesn't get banged up on rocks when on the trails
Make sure you chop it after the rear axle lol or rigtr above it

LOL, part of me is looking at butterfly cutout exhaust dumps after spying some of the Vegas to Reno SCORE trucks prepping for race day. Raw exhaust on a V8 is crazy loud, but so awe inspiring.

I have a magnaflow as well (previous owner installed) but it looks like a universal muffler that was welded up and comes out behind RR tire. No in cab drone though.

I had one for about a week, then it came off. The drone was horrible.

Changed my disgusting headlights for new clean and clear ones. Now looking for some plug and play white running lights so these don’t do what the originals did.

    A thing or two...
You could try installing a resonator. I put LCE's exhaust, which uses a Magnaflow muffler, on my 2.7, and it was super loud. I had a Vibrant 12" resonator welded in before the muffler, and it took care of the noise. It's still fairly loud, but it doesn't give me headaches anymore. When I first installed the exhaust, I'd start getting a headache if I drove for more than 60-90 minutes.

Who makes that switch pod? Don't really like the idea of loosing that little cubby, but that looks like the easiest option by far in the 2nd gens

    What did I do yesterday?
    1. Replaced drivers turn signal light.
    2. Tried to put a Uni filter on the secondary breather. Didn't have the right torx bit. Getting it today.
    3. Replaced chrome badges with matte black. Did not put the "Toyota" or "V6" back on.

    Today?
    1. Buy Torx bit and do filter mod.
    2. Wash and wax if it doesn't get to hot, as I don't have shade for waxing.
    3. Vacuum out the small beach in the backseat area from my dogs.

Coming this week or late nextweek-
*** Bilstein 5100/OME 285 and an add leaf***
Parts have arrived, just trying to schedule time to get it done before going on vacation next weekend.

    Psyched!

Yea I did mine maybe 2 years ago. Cleaned up the old ones and sold on craigslist for $60 to a fellow who had an accident and needed some just to get going on his repairs. Looks nice. Funny how that brightens the whole look. Kinda like a gal putting on that eye make up.

Got that free frame replacement due to rust done at the Toyota dealership :yay:

Also included in the warranty program was brake lines and lower control arms.
They even reinstalled my drop bracket lift as well .

On a side note I had both headgaskets done while the frame was being replaced. That came out of my pocket ughhh. Happy to have it back now tho. (Month and a half later) now I gotta get rid of that nasty chrome rear bumper and install my 4:56 gears
