South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

How many snatch blocks should be a minimum? I'm thinking three. Also, anyone used a come-along as a vehicle winch before? Been watching self rescue stuff on the tube this morning. I want to get some various and redundant options in the truck.

I’d 2 snatch blocks would be fine. I have used the steel cable style come-alongs with the short handles, before in ATVs and to hell with that IMHO. From videos I have seen using a hi lift as one is a lot better, but I would buy a winch.

Winch is going to be a must for sure. Just looking at additional options in case like a winch line breaks or whatever else could go wrong.

 

Never been there, but would like to visit. Both mom an dad have been there. Dad got to go for a business trip and got to see the Alamo. Asked a guy to see th basement

Just visiting for the convention. We almost moved to Dallas several years back from Michigan. I had accepted a job offer there, but we ended up in Philadelphia instead.

Yeah, I am originally from North Greenville/Tigerville, grew up in Florida/New Smyrna Beach, so the south is home.
