You could to the repairs on your own and coat them with something like Cerakote. They make a DIY high performance coating that doesn’t need to be baked on. No personal experience but it’s supposed to be very chemical and scratch resistant. You’d just have to check on compatibility between whatever you use for filler and the coating.

I just replaced mine a few weeks ago; fixed a vibration between 55-65 mph that plagued the truck for years, made the driveline feel more "solid"

One test is to physically move the driveshaft right where the carrier bearing is. Its obviously meant to have play in it, but if you can get it to move around quite a

bit, the rubber surrounding the bearing has given up the ghost  Like @Pugga said, try and stay away from aftermarket; its not a hard job but you don't want

to be under there again in a year. The Toyota one was pricey but the way to go in this case IMHO..

Right that would be a good option as well. It would be from sand blast pit marks so they will be all over, but not sure how deep they would be

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I've been having lingering issues with my sound system, so I finally bit the bullet and purchased an Android Auto head unit. Also going to replace all the wiring in the truck and call it a day.

11 is great! That's better than I usually get with the F250 and better than I ever got with the 150 towing a lighter camper. Although, his does look a little narrower than mine.

Hampton can be the summer meathead land. But it's not terrible. Rye is far enough removed. Different crowd up. Some real nice properties up there.
