I am not sure what to do about this, I am taking it to dealer Tuesday. This seems to be under the clear coat, has no texture on the surface and I assume it will fall under warranty?

Anyone else have anything like this? is it a fault with the paint?

Looks like some sort of iron contaminant thats embedded into the paint. I would get some IronX and try that first. I always de-contaminant a new vehicle with first some IronX and then clay. Maybe follow up with a light polish.
Do a search on how these products work.
It all depends on where your truck was stored (next to a rail yard) or transported. I'm amazed sometimes using IronX at the amount of contamination as your vehicle will bleed purple using it.
Your dealer may make it worse.

Will Iron X work even if I cannot feel anything on the surface?

Take it in for warranty. That issue belongs to the dealer.

Sometimes it will appear as tiny orange dots, you will notice it more on white paint. I don't always feel it. Rust needs air and moisture.

Let your dealer repair it. I would still do the IronX to your truck in case there is more.

Pretty sure thats just iron fallout....if you live in area of railroads etc or traveling on the highway on rainy conditions and traveling behind trucks etc iron fallout will bond to Your paint.

800miles trip in rainy conditions and noticed orange specs on my hood. Took out my iron X and dissolved everything and makes it turn purple.
