    True!
    Speaking from the ‘above’ aspect....
Not to mention NSA satellites(5) in geo sync orbit(geosynchronous orbit) the size of Hubble space telescope(NSA gave NASA two of them a few years ago) that can read a book over your shoulder so to speak.....
    https://www.space.com/16000-spy-satellites-space-telescopes-nasa.html

And now new, better technology that has cameras getting 90+ million megabyte resolution...

Popular Science article of a Chinese satellite that explains things more in layman’s terms:
    https://www.popsci.com/gaofen-4-wor...s-chinas-great-leap-forward-into-space#page-5

When I was in high school the book “1984” by George Orwell was required reading....we are so far, way past what he predicted and feared for today in so many ways....

Awesome job!! How long did it take you to stitch it together?

Before my current Taco, I had an '04 M3. It had been re-wrapped just as you did (I didn't do it) and boy was that the best damn steering wheel ever!!! Not only did it look amazing, I loved how meaty it felt in the hands.

EDIT: picture added (just cause we like pics)

I've had a "delivered" package get lost by USPS. I know it wasn't delivered because I happened to be home that day. Luckily it was something I ordered through Amazon so I contacted them and they sent me out a replacement. You are pretty much at the mercy of the retailer at that point to resolve the issue because USPS isn't going to own up to it.

I ship and receive packages several times a week. Am very friendly with our mail carrier. At least once a month I have a package from usps that states "out for delivery" but is not on the mail truck. It always arrives the next day. The carrier told me months ago that it is in the pile for delivery but the truck reached capacity prior to the package being loaded. So basically once the warehouse puts it in the "out" pile it is considered out for delivery.

Yeah. If you haven’t taken apart the steering wheel before, I can see how it possible may look a little complicated. However, it’s one of the easiest things to do. You have two hex screws behind the plastic covers on each side of the steering wheel. That removes the center horn section. Then you just have two screws that hold in each side control panels. That’s all there is to it. You also don’t have to remove either of those. I just did it because I thought it would be easier to tuck in the edges plus I’ve removed those sections before and knew it was an easy process. Directions show just throwing the steering wheel cover on and stitching it together. Stitching goes pretty fast as it’s every other one. Thank You! You should do it!

So this just finished up and I’m about to do mine as well. Teamed up with @MilkTeacoma on Instagram and he designed an a-pillar grabhandle Mount for driver side that looks sweet. @downstar is putting together hardware kits and I’m making the custom handles for it. @MilkTeacoma has a great video of the install on his insta page, @downstar will have hardware kits soon, and me @grabbinassgrabhandles will have the handles.

I think if you go from start to finish with no interruptions, probably an hour. I would recommend removing the steering wheel pieces because it does make it easier to tuck the edges in, but you don’t have to do that. Then it would probably only take you 45 mins. I’m also a perfectionist, so it takes me a little longer than most because it has to be as perfect as can be. However, now that I have done it, when this gets worn down I will for sure buy another one. I will also most likely purchase one when I get my Lexus in a year or two as well just to protect the original.

Speaking of Driver’s Side grab handles. I was going to take on a small project that most Tundra owners are doing. The newer Tundras I believe come without the driver’s side grab handles, so they purchase the parts from the previous generation Tundras and they work perfectly for the newer models as well. Our second gen Tacoma’s have the driver’s side grab handle and I believe it would work just like the Tundra mod, but I noticed that the grab handles with the Tacoma’s are different in size. If I were to do this mod, I’d have to get both sides because I would need them to be the same in diameter. OCD problems. I will most likely do this down the road, but for now, I have some other mods that are taking priority. However, if there are some looking to do this mod, youjust need the pillar, handle and one bolt. We already have one bolt now. I have the part numbers you would need as well if you are interested. Send me a PM.

I accidentally went swimming with mine yesterday. It was submerged for probably a good 5 minutes before I noticed. I opened it up and it was surprisingly dry on the inside. I let it dry for a bit as a precaution, and it still works fine.

No idea if the stock case would have faired as well.

    Huge advantages.

For starters the lines are harder and more edgy like the Tacoma so there is that. Then, as if that wasn't enough, you can get them in colors that match your truck. It is a little smaller overall too.

Mine resembles my cell phone case too so.

    20170803_065111.jpg

So yea, purely aesthetics for sure. However, I can't think of too many mods that don't have some amount of aesthetic attribute? And in a sea of plain, black, rounded edge key fobs, it's nice to have something different. Like our trucks.

My cousin and I designed it. You can customize it however you would like. Here are some options.

Contact @amirak and he can get you one. He also can add it to other decals if you’d like.

Did you post a link to the cover and I missed it?
