Is it a mistake to spend the extra money on these if you're constantly dirty? My buddy thinks I should buy something cheap/washable. How difficult is it to maintain these covers? I find myself grabbing a towel to sit on after work on days when I'm covered in mud and sweat.

    I can’t answer that....yet.
I too have worried about spending $500 on seat covers, then getting them gross with sweat and dirt. While I like to keep my vehicles sharp, they are still vehicles. My truck is still my truck, ignoring my sons ribbing calling mine a “show truck”. Ok, so I used my old truck, which is now his truck, to haul some river gravel. Mine was clean, his was not. But I digress....I did sweat like a pig putting these on, which in turn was all over the seats after installation, and I just wiped it off. If I was super sweaty, say from mowing a couple of acres in 90 degree weather, I would probably put a towel down before getting in.

These seat covers are probably my favorite upgrade I've done to my truck yet. Just gives the interior a premium look/feel.

I just got my 2018 DCSB Sport 4x4 in Cement with black interior on Friday! I ordered some covers with black body, dark grey insert, and orange stitching (to match the orange bezel).

Just ordered black on black k with red stitching. When installing would you recommend running a heatgun to the leather?

No heat gun required. Just leave them in the sun to warm up.

Like Auroraboy said, do not use a heat gun on these covers. The heat from the heat gun will ruin the covers. Leaving them out in the sun can help get them a little more flexible for the install. But do not use any other source of heat on them.

Because these are made of leather and our high quality vinyl, clean up is really pretty easy. The mess will just wipe right off of them. If you're particularly dirty, putting a towel down would be my suggestion. The best color for those that get dirty often would be the black as it will hide dirt the best and is really easy to maintain. I work on my vehicles as a hobby and as such I get really grimy. My covers have seen oil and all sorts of mess, but they clean up very well! We do have an assortment of leather care products on our website that I'd suggest using.

@Clazzio is there a brown that is darker than this? I like the way ah they look in the first pics but I think it may be a little too light in the other pics.

That kit is normally $599. It does come with the center console. We do have our current coupons for either $100 off or Free embroidery. The embroidery is normally $129 so that makes it the best value. *coupons cannot be combined, shipped free to lower 48

I just installed my covers this weekend. Straight out of the box and onto the seats. No sunbathing or extra warming required.

Can embroidery be done on the seat instead of on the headrest? Looking to do black/black/black with a grey TRD on the seatback.
