Rich and Tim I think that maybe Tackett Creek area instead of danial boon NF. Most of DBF is in KY, Tackett creek is in TN up around jellico. All of that is part of the Cumberland mountain range.

Bunch of trails cris crossing all those mountains. I think some may even go down an connect to windrock, I know for sure some connect to North Cumberland WMA.

 

That area I went in was off a dirt rd. Eddy, Sandman and Adam came down the hill and out to the gravel rd where I went in.

We were there at different times. I had a play date with a girl that used to be my next door neighbor growing up. We met half way. Her coming down from Bloomington, IN and me driving up from greenville.

It wasn't Jellico that was the half way meeting area but I can't think of the name atm. It's on the tip of my tongue. Anyhoo....that portion of DBNF was really close to the hotel we stayed at.

We were just out driving around the forest on a gravel road and came on that side rd. Eddy and them guys went wheeling later that year I think and ended up in the exact spot I got stuck. I mean, what are the chances?

Corbin. Might have been bee creek rd/1193 to w laurel rd/192. or somewhere out there. So yea, it was KY.

Also, recommended that your recovery equipment is rated to 2.5 times that weight of your truck as you have it (so you will need to add weight of people, gear, armor...) to the listed weight on the inside of the door.

I went to 170, she's resting now. Dry brined for two days uncovered. Maple bourbon glaze. Smoked with pecan.
