Varrstoen is VTX btw, I wouldn't give Rich Varrstoen a fucking cent, his entire brand is making knockoffs of quality wheels

Yeah I thought that was him, one reason I was kinda staying away from those. I found some Enkei T6S that are fairly close to the TE37s

May have found what I'm doing this rim but will probably have my buddy PC them to gunmetal

    Fronts: 18x8.5 +35mm wrapped in a 245/45R18

    Rears: 18x9.5 +30mm wrapped in a 275/40R18

I used willtheyfit.com and compared them to my current stuff and since the rears won't move I'm fine back there. But the front will be 16.1mm closer to the strut and stick out 22.1mm more. I don't think that's an issue but I have a little while to figure it out. I won't order tires until October to take advantage of the discount tire deal.

    Thoughts or concerns?

I think that size/offset of wheels would be just fine. It's pretty similar to my setup. Mine are currently plastidipped, but Im planning to get them powdercoated gunmetal in the future.

I don't have any concerns because I've never owned a Supra but I do think those Enkeis would look really nice on yours, although I think silver or gunmetal might look nice as a bit of contrast, white could look nice too but that would be quite the statement

I kinda based them off your numbers as I knew they fit. I wasn't going to go staggered but the more I thought about it the better I think it'll look

Well the reason I'm thinking gunmetal is because I may get the car painted like a Navy blue or something similar or just keep it black. Haven't nailed it down, but gunmetal would look killer on both and it'll match the truck a little.

Also thought of bronze as it'll look just as good but still up in the air about color

Man I love bronze wheels, heavy contrast makes them really pop I think. Like green car/bronze wheels, red car/bronze wheels, even subaru style blue/bronze

But black, silver, and white never seemed to make them pop as much. But either way I don't think you can go wrong with those wheels

My dilemma: black/blue car and gunmetal rims = clean and blends in look while black/blue car with bronze = stands out and pops

AC has been fixed for now. Tuner shop vacuumed the system out and swapped over to R134. Only thing they said wrong was that the low pressure side was almost a 0 psi, but since the system had been dry for so long and dry. Said to just drive it around for a few weeks and they can re check everything. But for now it blows nice cool air! :bananadance:

Oh and they said that there is no air duct going from the main system to the driver side vent so I'll have to see if I can find one somewhere. But that's minor details now haha

Anybody know where to get some good floor mats? Did a google search but couldn’t find much more than these

    https://m.ebay.com/itm/1990-1992-Toyota-Supra-Floor-Mats-4pc-Cutpile/232683628327?fits=Year:1991|Model:Supra&hash=item362d066727:m:memOuHJUwFmfEttygIRluhQ&var=532173147056&_nkw=1991+supra+floor+mats&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=p2380057.m4084.l1313.TR10.TRC0.A0.H0.X1991+supra.TRS0

Also can I swap out a power seat bracket for a manual seat bracket? Not sure why I couldn’t but who knows. Less electrical crap the better. Or better yet maybe even some better seats

When I had mine, I was eyeing these for wheels:

    For a flush fit

    upload_2018-8-13_21-40-1.jpg

But Then I liked the lip look and thought these were nice.

    upload_2018-8-13_21-40-19.jpg

Make them with black spokes too

    upload_2018-8-13_21-40-43.jpg

By supra was white so the last option was appealing to me.

Got a few more things checked off the list this weekend! I ordered a air vent to go to the driver side so now I have cold air being delivered to both sides.

Also installed new e-brake and gear shifter boots along with a near knob. Looks freaking awesome!

Looks great! When you installed the shifter boot, did you reuse the top ring and the metal retainer at the bottom of the stock boot? Im doing a 5 speed swap and not sure if I need to find those pieces or not.

I didn’t have much of the top ring left so I kinda just shoved it into the knob. It basically fell apart once I took the boot off.

But I did use the metal retainer at the bottom, just super glued the boot to it. Worked great

There's an eBay listing for that metal retainer for $45! Not sure I want to spend that much and might try to make due without it. Your interior looks pretty clean. Surprised to see you can still read the TEMS buttons, as those are usually chipped or flaking.

Honestly I’d just look for one from a part out in Craigslist. Not worth $45 IMO. I’m sure you could come up with something.

Yup only thing left is new steering wheel cover, fix my driver seat and floor mats. Yeah I’m surprised it’s still pretty clean and legible haha

Nothing new to report, just starting maintenance on the truck so money is tied up with that. Hopefully buying rims and tires next month :fingerscrossed:

But I did go to a local car show a few weeks ago. Saw quite a few Supras but they were all Mk4's. But I did have a twin!

RHD, automatic but it did have the 2.5 twin turbo
