    Hello all,
    Just made my purchase of OVTUNE for my 2017 O/R. Having some issues with the initial software install. These 2 pictures show that my antivirus is off, download of the software pack is complete and the download flash tools is NOT HIGHLIGHTED. Also the tool updates where you use the decrypt key is empty. Now, I see from other people that they could direct where the download for the software pack goes. I do not see that option and am not convinced anything actually downloaded. Anyone see this before? I am using windows 10. Thanks in advance.

    It's more like when Google updates the android phones, or apple releases a new OS. Same hardware, just different versions of the firmware, better control over hardware etc. Ovtune interacts with new slicker version of firmware and can get further refinements w/o regard to fuel economy, emissions, etc. Other than those reasons, I can't see Toyota leaving power on the table, once you have drivability figured out.

    From my understanding this can not be accomplished with a tune. The only way I am aware of is the Hypertech system where you install a small "dongle" behind your instrument cluster after programming it.
