    Great to be back. 4yrs of a tundra. Here we go, just bought 02 crew the a/c works but will go warm then I can turn temp control to heat back to cold and it will blow cold again what is going on.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Does 'goes to warm' include significantly reduced air flow? Maybe a puff of 'smoke' out the center vents right before? (really fog)

    If so, the evap is icing over. Too cold, stops airflow across the evap.

    There is a sensor on the face of the evap that cycles the compressor at about 36-38* to stop it from freezing over.

    My bet is that sensor has failed. Sensor is cheap, but it's not too easy to get to.

    This still happens even if ac isn't on. Was driving without ac on and it still went hot

    The point is your first description of the problem was based on AC use. Which is what I gave a suggested answer for.

    Your second description of the problem doesn't match the first. I have no clue how it would 'blow cold' when the AC is off.

    the cool air from out side. like driving with the fan on drawing cool air from outside. then it will turn hot like the heat in on, you then turn the temp to hot then back to cold and the air will turn cool again
