Kinda surprised at Amazon's response to an issue... I ordered a game for the kids and a book for me as we were going to be in the car for 16 hours or so. The shipment didn't arrive in the promised 2 days, so it wasn't here when we left. I tried to return the unopened package when we got home but the automated return process online said I couldn't return due to "our return policies", but didn't detail which policy wasn't met. So I wrote a very brief email, explaining that the shipment didn't arrive in time, so the items weren't needed, and it was a failure on their or their shipper's part.

Then the surprise: I fully expected to have to fight with them to get the return through, but quite the opposite. I got an apology email along with credit back to my account, and an additional $10 credit for my inconvenience. And they told me just to keep the goods too. While I realize that $35 or so isn't going to break Amazon's bank, I'd say that was a bit beyond necessary, and a sure way to keep customers coming back. That Bezos guy isn't the richest man in the world for nothing.

My mower had a hard day today.
Wet heavy shit that required me to use the water injector for the deck.
Yea about 2 inches of nice wet grass got removed.
I still have to mow again as wet grass don’t spring back when you run over it to mow.
Looks like I have mini corn crop rows.

Been a while since it was this bad.
Lots of rain, working all the time equals hay field.. lol

    Good Morning Everyone !!!! :hattip:

Today is a special day for me !!!

37 years ago today I stood onto the yellow foot prints at MCRD San Diego and instantly became a United States Marine . The Marines are deep in tradition and we've got a saying "Once a Marine Always a Marine " . Once a Marine, always a Marine," is a motto all Marines hold near and dear to their hearts. Whether they serve for four years or 20, they proudly maintain the title ‘Marine’ for the rest of their lives.

Can you retire again from the same job?

If that’s the case I’ve retired from my job 4380 times..
