    The older oil based paint is easier to do but this new water based is not so great. I tried doing that years ago with my integra and it was a no go with several body shop and they wouldn't warranty the work if I let them do it.

    That SUCKS!!! I noticed the clear coat on the roof towards the back is starting to get thin, which is why I'm asking the questions.

    But yeah, that really does suck then!!! I don't plan on getting rid of the Civic the thing drives and handles well still. :thumbsup:

    I'm also glad I decided to keep it simply because I can use it for back-up purposes given recent events with my truck!!! :thumbsup:
