Gunna start recruiting Texas members of tundras.com to TTC, especially the Houston area. Since they don't have a group that ever meets.

Didn't get it hooked to the scanner but the collectors were super loose. Damn big ass cam is rattling stuff apart. Tightened everything up and it's better but still sputters a little under hard acceleration so I'm thinking it's a fuel issues. I'm running 950CC injectors on the factory pump so it may just be having trouble keeping up as it is now 6 years old. Hoping it's a cheap fix but it's a Cadillac so probably not.

    Sounds good to me!

    I <3 tacos...

I think a beach meet would be great. One of the issues that splinters the groups is that there are a lot of people who are strictly mall crawlers and a lot who are hardcore wheelers and they can't seem to get along. Also with the freeway closures most every weekend some groups don't want to fight like 2 hours of traffic to make a meet.

    We can make it happen!

We can do it we just have to get a group who wants to do it and make it happen. There's a Galveston coffee and cars as well and it may be more realistic for @Biscuits @Wju and @because_minitruck and I to try and make that happen as it is closer to home for us.

You're welcome to come on down!

Sounds good! I know of a small distillery called Railean in San Leon that's got a grass lot we could take over if we wanted to do a little meet there. They do a tour of the facility and a tasting. Best $5 you can spend to catch a buzz and have some fun.

There's places all over we could have meets but I think parking is hard to plan for in some places. Nacho Nachos was good because they have a large lot that on the weekend only has to house their traffic really. I think a monthly meet there starting in the fall would be awesome since the actual restaurant is pretty small we would be comfortable eating and hanging out outside.

Okay so I just looked up the info on Coffee and Cars for Houston and the next one is on Saturday September 1st. It is a short event that starts at 8AM and runs to 10AM when they have to clear the parking lot for customers as it's held at Memorial City Mall. So, literal mall crawling. We still have some time to plan if we want to try and have a group go out there and represent.

    Yes.
Those of you who were at Cars and Coffee this morning, were among the last to see my Tundra in a "could be completely reversed" (I'm not counting the cab mount chop. Toyota should have done that from the factory.) state.
This afternoon I did the first really irreversible thing to my truck.

There's no going back now! This year's crop has been good on the Antenna Farm.

    Yes.
Potentially, all but one could be used at the same time. Although it'd be difficult to do so by yourself. :)

My wife could be on the Yaesu, talking on 70cm (front passenger, short, antenna) The APRS could beacon (rear passenger, longer, antenna.)
I could be talking on either 2m or 70cm on the Icom (Front or rear driver's antenna)

and my mother in law could be on the GMRS (middle rear short antenna.)

If we're considering listening as using, then absolutely.

Can you communicate with aliens now?

No really... What's the point of that many antennae?
