After over engineering the shit out of my RTT hoist in my head, $20 and a trip to Home Depot was all that was needed...the KISS principle is always best!

I’m sorry, you’re right... i just double checked. Looks like it was just under 500$ I paid from a Toyota vendor on eBay for the new fogs. I’ve bought quite a few things for the truck over the last few weeks... I believe rigid also has other fogs that are 300$ish.

By cinching up the strap on each corner a little at a time after placing the studs under each end of the tent and unbolting from the rack...smooth, controlled, and most importantly I can load/unload without help.

$650! Wow! From what I’ve seen here the knockoffs from Amazon are pretty good! Would definitely choose Amazon over the steelership! BTW I’m a Steelers fan, hence the spelling. :D

Wait, what? That's totally nuts...a 2018 Pro grille (different p/n than '16-'17) and garnish is like $250...

It’s crazy! I actually tried to purchase from Toyota parts deal.com and they refused to sell me a pro grill since I did not have a pro vin # to give them. And the Toyota dealership near me seems to be actively stoping people from purchasing pro grills by giving outrageous quotes for a piece of plastic. It’s a conspiracy! Lol

That sucks, man...good to know about TPD, though...they didn't used to do the VIN check.
