Took delivery of my 18 Taco a few days ago with 5 miles on the truck. Spent the day being kind to her and dressing up some of her imperfections.

Door badges, license plate frame with paper dealer plate plasti-dipped.

Rear V6 badge removed.

Bed stickers removed.

Tailgate stickers applied.

Mudflaps installed.

AC drain mod.

 

Don't a lot of New vehicle adds have the VIN# posted with them...

Have the same case. Had it on my S4 as well. I ended up making a hip holster for it since i couldn't find anything i liked.

As for the ajt fob, it's cleaner and doesn't match my wife's Rav4 fob...so, a must.

 

Yea, always been a UAG fan. Just good stuff. Spiegen makes a great case too but ...............

Me too, keeps mine easily recognized from my wife's spare set. Great minds think alike

 

I pulled the same numbers on a trip to the beach and back. 265/70r17 Ridge Grapplers load range E with a full bed. If you keep the rpms at or under 2k the Taco is super efficient. I've seen higher numbers.

Just installed the AVS Aeroskin 2 hood protector.... I just wanted opinions on if this looks right? I tried to get it as close to the edge of the hood as I could but it causes the ends to go over past the edge. So looked at other pictures and some look like mine while others look flush up against the back of the grill. So just curious if this is right?

 

Where did you get the dash kit? I've been trying to find some carbon fiber trim for my TRD 18

Good luck finding the 2018 part number. And if you do there is a really good chance they ask for a pro vin and/or copy of registration to sell it. Story i got is Toyota released the new lower price part realised why sell for $200 what they can sell for double that or more. Then they just permanently backordered the 2018 part yet have plenty of the 2017s

I did buy an oem one from my dealer but he charged me @373 plus 40 for the garnish. Still a lot more than the knockoff ones but I've got the luck of a casino cooler so if i did go knockoff it would have been the one awful one. There's an oem one on Amazon 380 no tax and prime shipping from a dealer in NJ if you want oem

 

I'm pretty happy with my '18 OR grille, especially now that I swapped the chrome surround with the black SR part. The Pro grille has zero appeal to me for a number of reasons, unlike my former Tundra with its ocean on chrome on the front end. I was helping a brother out

 

It's taken just about all summer but today I finally finished up my light bars. I'll post more pics later once I get some better ones.

Here's a couple though.


This is the common drive to the properties past mine. Without any light you can't see your hand in front of your face. I changed that.

The light sources are an Auxbeam 42" Curved 5D Combo 240w Curved light bar mounted to the OEM roof rack with brackets I got of Amazon, another Auxbeam 32" Straight 5D Combo 180w light bar mounted using an N-Fab light bar mounting system, Xenon Depot Pro Extreme LEDs in the low beams and Morimoto XB fog lights.

The lumens are off the chart.

I had to adjust the camera settings to get this shot...

I'm going to do a very comprehensive review and add it to my signature. Just need a couple days.
